I have a crush on Charles Bukowski!

Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead.”
Charles Bukowski

August 16, 1920 – March 9, 1994 Rest in Peace to the man whom may have possibly been the love of my life. Had I been around during his lifetime! I remember when I first stumbled upon this magnificent creature; I had never before been so impressed and seduced by a work of literature. It was love at first sight. Charles Bukowski, born as Heinrich Karl Bukowski in Andernach, Germany, to Heinrich Bukowski and Katharina, what blessed parents they are, is a German-born American poet and novelist stole the heart of an all-African-American girl. His work is marked by an importance on the ordinary lives of “poor” Americans, the act of writing, alcohol, relationships with women and the grind of work. My love, Bukowski wrote thousands of poems, hundreds of short stories and six novels, ultimately publishing over sixty books, so far I have only read two. I’m a hopeless romantic with my nose stuck somewhere between amongst the work of Charles Bukowski.

Its 2013, and we all know it but me, well that’s what it seems like, because I’m a bit behind. I only mean behind in the technology world, this is my first official blog, and I’m wondering what do I blog about?  Eh, I know you’re wondering why is she blogging now? Why not before. I’m wondering the same thing. Well it’s mainly because this was the easy way out.

Easy way out from what?!

The easy way out from my marketing teacher, the assignment is to create a blog or die in misery with a load more work, so like any smart college student I took the easy route.

But how easy is this?

What am I supposed to blog about? Just anything? But what’s anything in today’s world, I feel like everything has already been taken, talked about, and blogged about. Hot topics like Miley Cyrus and Syria are defiantly over discussed. For some reason those are the only things I can think about, main media headlines.

Can someone please help me figure out this blog thing, someone besid2234703822_fa7426e59f_mes David Meerman Scott.
